Winning the toss and choosing to bat on a flat pitch, India u-19 amassed 341 for seven in 50 overs before bowling Australia u-19 out for 239 in 41.1 overs.
Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan spearheaded the Indian innings, following his Player-of-the-Match performance in the series opener with a 100-ball 122, featuring 15 boundaries and two sixes. After a watchful start, Yashbardhan gradually opened up, playing primarily in the 'V' and placing the ball through gaps to build the foundation of India's total.
Earlier in the innings, Aaryavir Sehwag set the tone with an early boundary and scored 47 before a mix-up ended his second-wicket partnership of 55 with V.K. Vineeth. Vineeth contributed 87 off 92 balls, hitting four boundaries and six sixes. Thomas Vaseo was the standout bowler for Australia u-19, picking up 3 for 78.
Australia u-19 struggled early in their chase, with Mohit Ulva and C. Venkata reducing them to 29 for two. Jack Czosnek (81 off 63 balls) and Blake Cattle (44) put on 99 runs for the fourth wicket to mount a recovery.
