These terms apply when you use pureplayindia.in (“the site”), which is run by PurePlay India (“we”, “us”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. What the site is for

PurePlay India publishes sports news, features, event listings, profiles and video, and runs a network that connects athletes, clubs, promoters and brands. Everything on the site is for general information.

2. Accuracy and changes

We work from official sources and check what we publish, but sport moves fast. Fixtures, venues, dates, results and squads can change after we publish. Please confirm important details, such as tickets, travel or trials, with the organiser. Nothing on the site is professional, legal, financial or betting advice. If you spot a mistake, write to editor@pureplayindia.in and we will correct it.

3. Our content and copyright

Unless a page says otherwise, the articles, graphics, layout and other original material on the site belong to PurePlay India. You may read it, share links to it and quote short extracts with credit and a link back to the original page. You may not copy, republish or sell our content, or collect it in bulk with automated tools, without our written permission.

Names, logos, photographs and match data of clubs, leagues, federations and other organisations belong to their owners. We use them to report and identify. If you own material that appears on the site and want it credited or removed, write to us and we will respond promptly.

4. What you send us

If you send us an article, a tip, a photo, a video or any other material, or fill in a form on the site, you confirm that you have the right to send it and that it does not break anyone’s rights or the law. You give us a free, non-exclusive licence to publish it on the site and our social channels, and to edit it for length and clarity. We will credit you where we have agreed to. We are not obliged to publish anything. Please do not send material that is defamatory, hateful or unlawful.

If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree before you send us your details. The Join the Network form asks for their contact for this reason.

5. Comments

Where comments are open, please keep them respectful and relevant. We may edit or remove comments, and block users, at our discretion.

6. Links, video and advertising

The site links to other websites and embeds video from YouTube. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or practices. The site shows advertising, including ads served by Google. An advertisement is not an endorsement by us. We aim to label sponsored and partner content, and advertisers and sponsors do not control our reporting.

7. Network listings, advertising and sponsorship enquiries

Appearing in the Network section, or being featured in an article, does not mean we endorse a person, club or company. Sending an advertising or sponsorship enquiry does not create an agreement. Any commercial arrangement is made in writing and agreed by both sides.

8. Our responsibility

The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that results from using the site or relying on its content, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Privacy and cookies

How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy, and how we use cookies in our Cookie Policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of competent jurisdiction in India.
