Portuguese soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have officially tied the knot in a private civil ceremony on Tuesday, August 11, 2026. The wedding took place in Cascais, a coastal town located in western Portugal near Lisbon.
The announcement was made by the Brunswick Group, the public relations team representing Ronaldo, who described the event as "a private and intimate moment attended by their five children." The couple also posted a photograph displaying their wedding rings on their Instagram accounts.
Ronaldo, 41, and Rodriguez have been together for the past decade after originally meeting in Madrid.
The five-time world player of the year recently featured in a record-tying sixth World Cup for Portugal. He is scheduled to return to action for his Saudi team, Al Nassr, when their domestic season begins on Saturday, August 15.
