Chelsea are reportedly seeking a season-long loan deal for Mykhailo Mudryk to rebuild his match fitness and confidence after his four-year doping suspension was overturned.

Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has returned to first-team football after the FA lifted his doping violation suspension. The Ukrainian's four-year ban was overturned following an appeal, though he has not featured in a competitive match since testing positive for meldonium in 2024.

To avoid placing him under immediate domestic pressure in the Premier League, Chelsea are considering a season-long loan to restore Mudryk's match fitness, confidence, and market value. The Blues have reportedly ruled out a permanent sale and are strictly evaluating temporary transfer options.

Italian Serie A outfit Como has emerged as a potential destination under head coach Cesc Fabregas, a former Chelsea midfielder. Como's financial backing would enable them to cover Mudryk's salary while offering a lower-pressure environment to regain form.

A short-term move to Coventry City would reunite Mudryk with manager Frank Lampard, who previously worked with the winger during his tenure at Chelsea. Coventry could offer guaranteed minutes to unlock his form after an extended period away from competitive action.

Remaining in the Premier League is also an option, with Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest linked. Crystal Palace could provide regular top-flight minutes outside the scrutiny of a 'Big Six' club, while Nottingham Forest would allow him to maintain his adaptation to the English top flight's tempo and physical demands.

Additionally, Chelsea have considered sending Mudryk to their sister club, RC Strasbourg. Although Strasbourg and select Italian teams have shown interest, Mudryk's personal preference is reportedly to secure a loan move within the Premier League.
