Rey Fenix and Penta will face off in the tournament final to earn a World Heavyweight Championship match against Roman Reigns on WWE Raw in Mexico City.
The semi-finals of the World Heavyweight Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tournament concluded on the August 24 edition of WWE Raw at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, Ontario. In the opening match, Rey Fenix defeated Dragon Lee, while Penta secured his spot in the finals by defeating La Parka in the second match.
Brothers Rey Fenix and Penta will now collide in the tournament final. The winner will earn the opportunity to challenge World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns on the September 14 edition of WWE Raw, airing live from Arena CDMX in Mexico City, Mexico.
The September 14 show marks WWE's return to Mexico for its weekly broadcasts for the first time in 15 years. The Mexican tour includes SmackDown live from Arena CDMX on September 11, 2026, followed by Raw on September 14. These events take place during TripleMania 34 weekend, which features an event at Arena CDMX on September 13 and Night 1 at the Luxor Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas on September 11.
Along with the marquee World Heavyweight Championship match, the September 14 Raw show will feature the main roster debut of Lola Vice, who has been off WWE television since losing her NXT title rematch in an NXT Underground match.
