Romelu Lukaku is expected to leave Napoli this summer following a fallout over salary and preseason training, with Trabzonspor, Atlanta United, and AS Monaco eyeing the €10 million-rated striker.

Romelu Lukaku is expected to depart Napoli during the summer transfer window following a breakdown in his relationship with club officials, disputes over his salary demands, and his refusal to attend the team's preseason training camp. Napoli have set a €10 million valuation for the 33-year-old Belgian international, who is eager to leave Italy and secure a fresh start elsewhere.

Under new manager Massimiliano Allegri, the striker is unlikely to feature in Napoli's long-term project. Additionally, with Rasmus Hojlund in the squad at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, Lukaku is no longer guaranteed a starting role. Commenting on the situation, the forward's representative stated that Belgium's all-time record goalscorer "isn't the kind of person who stays where he's not wanted."

Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor have emerged as one of the interested parties. According to Sky Italia, Trabzonspor—who previously made headlines by signing Mohamed Salah—are pushing to add Lukaku to their squad, though it remains uncertain if the Belgian wants to make the move to Turkey.

Major League Soccer side Atlanta United are also keeping a close eye on the forward. The FIFA World Cup 2026 participant has previously been linked with a potential move to the United States, and the MLS club is assessing the situation.

Meanwhile, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that French Ligue 1 side AS Monaco have made the former Everton striker one of their primary targets. The severe tension between Lukaku and Napoli's board is expected to facilitate a potential deal around the €10 million price tag.
