The total of 55 marks Pakistan's lowest score in the history of Women's T20 Internationals. India's bowling attack relentlessly choked the run flow, delivering an astounding 78 dot balls across 18.1 overs. Left-arm spinner Shree Charani stood out with figures of 3 for 7, extracting sharp turn and bounce, while leg-spinner Prema Rawat grabbed 3 for 9 in her four overs. Off-spinner Deepti Sharma took 2 for 5 in 3.1 overs, and wrist spinner Shafali Verma chipped in with 1 for 10 in three overs.
Pakistan had initially opted to bat and started smoothly, moving to 27 for no loss in just over four overs behind openers Muneeba Ali (13) and Shawaal Zulfiqar (14). However, once Harmanpreet Kaur—captaining India for the 150th time in T20Is—assessed the turning track and brought on spin, Pakistan collapsed drastically, losing six wickets for just nine runs to totter at 36 for 6 after 10 overs. No batter outside the top two managed to reach double figures.
Muneeba was beaten shuffling towards leg stump, while Charani dismissed Gull Feroza (0) caught at short third and trapped Zulfiqar plumb leg-before. Ayesha Zafar (2) lobbed an easy catch to Harmanpreet at mid-on, and Rawat bowled Sadaf Shamas (3). Pakistan skipper Fatima Sana went for a duck, trapped LBW by a classical off-break from Deepti Sharma. Later, Eyman Fatima (5) was run out in a mix-up with Umm-e Hani (6), who subsequently fell attempting an ill-advised sweep.
